Fall 2014 Makeup Trends

Hi! My name is Airess and today I am going to be talking about my favorite makeup trends for Fall. Now, I don’t know if you are as excited as I am about Fall, but I just love the cooler temperatures because they allow for so much fun when it comes to styling outfits and makeup. I decided to do my makeup today using those trends so that you guys could see firsthand what my favorites are, how they can be worn, and I will even show you some of my favorite products to achieve these trends. The first major trend for fall is the bold brow. The bold brow was definitely seen during Fashion Week this year at the Christian Sirano, Rebecca Minkoff and a host of other shows and I absolutely love it. Some people have naturally bold brows but if not I definitely recommend filling in your brows with either a pencil or powder, or both like I sometimes do. My favorite brow product at the moment is this Ofra Universal Brow Pencil. The pencil is made with beeswax so it is the perfect product for stay in place brows.    The next trend is bold winged/cat eyeliner in very opaque black as well as very bright bold colors as seen in the Cushnie et Ochs show this year. To do this trend I used my favorite MAC gel liner in Blacktrack. Another way to incorporate two trends in one is to use a metallic color for eyeliner which I have done on my lower lash line using the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Binge. Lastly, but certainly not least, since it is my favorite way to play up any look, is the bold wine/deep berry/vampy lip. This trend is always in season for Fall and you can never go wrong with a nice lip color. To achieve this trend, I started out lining my lips with a dark lip pencil to prevent any bleeding/feathering and then I used MAC’s Rebel lipstick mixed with a little bit of Wet N’ Wild’s Sugar Plum Fairy. Love it. So these were my favorite trends for Fall this year, and I would definitely love to hear what your favorites were. Stay fabulous!
